The application process opens mid-October until 11.59 pm Sunday, February 12, 2023.  You will notice that applications are much earlier than for other Specialist Programs or General enrolments for Year 7, with applications required to be made for 2022 Year 5 or 2023 Year 6 students prior to February 12.

 

Application Process – Applications will be sought from 2022 – Year 5 students entering the program in 2024 – Year 7.  Please make a note of the key dates to ensure you don’t miss out on the deadline for applications. The process for applications is online via the gifted and talented website.

Find out more about the Gifted and Talented Dance Program –  The Gifted and Talented Dance program at Hampton SHS is endorsed by the Department of Education in Western Australia. It is designed to challenge children with exceptional creative talent to achieve at the highest level. This website provides a link to apply and advertising/reminders occur via Social Media, Primary Schools and Dance Schools.

 

Students selected for this elite contemporary Dance Program study a wide variety of dance styles and are given many performance opportunities.  Parents are required to apply for these programs.
